I am a licensed psychologist who has worked with children, teenagers and their parents for more than sixteen years. I have worked for many years in child and youth psychiatry and children’s healthcare, and I have also worked as a school psychologist for some years. I now divide my time between writing and working part-time at Astrid Lindgren’s Children’s hospital (Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm), mainly in cancer care for children. In addition I hold lectures and has various consulting assignments for clients such as Swedish National Television and Save the Children, to name a few. I am also frequently consulted in the Swedish media for questions relating to child psychology in various aspects.
